A.2. About GlobalCan.med

GlobalCan.med provides a secure digital environment for medical cannabis-related telemedicine workflows. The platform may include, depending on user type and country availability, patient registration, eligibility questionnaire, patient profile management, secure communication, consultation workflows, prescription-related workflows, pharmacy continuation support and verified supplier information.

GlobalCan.med is not an emergency medical service and does not replace emergency medical care.

A.3. Medical Nature of the Platform

GlobalCan.med is a technology platform supporting communication and workflow management. Medical decisions are made only by licensed healthcare professionals.

GlobalCan.med does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication directly, guarantee that a prescription will be issued, guarantee eligibility for medical cannabis treatment, replace an in-person medical examination where such examination is necessary, or provide emergency medical assistance.

Any prescription, medical recommendation or treatment decision is issued only by the healthcare professional responsible for reviewing the patient’s case, in accordance with applicable law, professional standards and medical ethics.

A.4. Patient Registration and Account Creation

Patients may create an account on GlobalCan.med by submitting the information requested in the registration form.

Patients are responsible for providing accurate, complete and truthful information, including full name, email address, relevant medical information, eligibility questionnaire answers and any other information requested during the consultation workflow.

Incomplete, false, inaccurate or misleading information may affect the ability of healthcare professionals to assess the patient’s case properly.

GlobalCan.med may refuse, suspend or terminate access where information appears inaccurate, incomplete, fraudulent or inconsistent with these Terms.

A.5. Eligibility Questionnaire

Before accessing certain services, patients may be required to complete an eligibility questionnaire.

The purpose of the questionnaire is to collect initial information that may help determine whether the patient can proceed to medical review. The questionnaire does not represent a diagnosis, prescription or medical approval.

A healthcare professional may request additional information, refuse to proceed, recommend an in-person consultation, or determine that medical cannabis treatment is not appropriate for the patient.

A.6. Doctors and Healthcare Professionals

Doctors and healthcare professionals using GlobalCan.med must hold all licenses, registrations, approvals and qualifications required under applicable law.

By registering or using the platform, healthcare professionals confirm that they are legally authorized to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction, will use the platform in accordance with medical ethics and applicable law, are solely responsible for medical decisions, advice, prescriptions and patient communication, and will not use the platform for unlawful, misleading or unethical purposes.

GlobalCan.med may review doctor accounts before activation and may suspend or remove access where necessary for security, compliance, quality control or legal reasons.

A.7. Pharmacies and Verified Suppliers

GlobalCan.med may provide controlled access to pharmacies and verified suppliers.

Pharmacies and suppliers are responsible for ensuring that all information, products, services, availability, descriptions and claims provided through the platform comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Product information displayed on GlobalCan.med is provided for transparency and informational purposes only. It does not constitute a medical recommendation, prescription, advertisement to patients, or guarantee of suitability for any individual.

A.8. Online Consultations and Communication

GlobalCan.med may support online consultation workflows, secure messaging or other remote communication tools between patients and healthcare professionals.

Online communication does not always replace an in-person medical examination. If a healthcare professional determines that a physical examination, additional medical tests or specialist referral is required, the patient must follow the healthcare professional’s instructions.

Users are responsible for ensuring that they use the platform in a private environment and that they have appropriate technical equipment and internet access.

Recording consultations, chats, video calls or medical communication without proper legal basis and consent is prohibited.

A.9. Prescriptions

Any prescription-related workflow available through GlobalCan.med is subject to applicable law and medical evaluation.

GlobalCan.med does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. The decision to issue, refuse, renew or modify a prescription belongs exclusively to the responsible licensed healthcare professional.

GlobalCan.med may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the platform where necessary.

A.18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlobalCan.med is not liable for medical decisions made by healthcare professionals, failure of a patient to provide accurate information, misuse of the platform by users, unauthorized account access caused by user negligence, third-party services or websites, technical issues outside GlobalCan.med’s control, indirect damages, or loss of data, profits, opportunities or reputation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
